Abstract

|
It is very hard to find out the best antidepressant in the treatment of depressive disorder. Conditions of the best antidepressant include not only good efficacy but tolerability and safety. The best antidepressant may be altered according to the individual patient’s age, gender, and symptoms characteristics and side effects of the medication. Therefore, it is important to select the most appropriate and effective antidepressant for the treatment of the individual depressed patient.
